A-share RPS ranking measures the percentile of each Shanghai-Shenzhen A-share's price increase relative to all A-shares in a specific time cycle.

The RPS value range is 1 to 99. RPS = 85 indicates that the stock's price increase exceeded that of 85% of stocks among all A-shares. O'Neil's research found that the average RPS value of the largest bull stocks historically reaches 87 before launch, meaning it has already outperformed 87% of stocks in the market.

How is the A-Share RPS Ranking Calculated?

A-Share RPS Ranking is calculated based on the actual closing prices of 5,344 stocks in the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets. For each stock, the price change range over the specified period (50, 120, 250 trading days) is taken, then all stocks in the market are sorted by price change from highest to lowest, and converted to percentiles from 0 to 99. RPS 90 means this stock's price change ranks in the top 10% of A-shares. This site automatically updates after each trading day's close, excluding suspended and insufficient data stocks to ensure horizontal comparability.
